As part of the Mediterranean Season 2026, La Condition Publique (Roubaix, France) and Le Cube are joining forces to co-produce the group exhibition
Au-delà de toutes les mers (Beyond All the Seas), curated by Ninon Duhamel and Elisabeth Piskernik.
The exhibition brings together the artists Khadija El Abyad, Mohammed Laouli, Katrin Ströbel, Ziad Naitaddi, Sarah Van Melick, Nour Sokhon, Irena Eden & Stijn Lernout, Leila Sadel, Badr El Hammami, Karima El Karmoudi, Myriam Van Imschoot, Ahmad Karmouni, and Hallima Imane Zoubai. It explores the circulation of populations, languages, and cultures, as well as intangible flows (memories, know-how, beliefs) across the Mediterranean, highlighting exchanges, transformations, and encounters between cultural identities.
A parallel program will feature performances, screenings, workshops, and talks. Artist residencies by Ziad Naitaddi and Nour Sokhon will also present new works exploring human and animal migrations as well as Mediterranean sonic environments.
