The Presents marks a return of Ziad Naitaddi to the High Atlas following the earthquake of September 8, 2023, which claimed 3,000 lives.
His new research project, in collaboration with Le Cube and the Heinrich Böll Foundation Rabat, explores the power of visual and sound dissemination to reflect reality, and the significance of information in an era dominated by social media.

Conceived as an essay, the project draws on elements representing a seismic context, mirroring the perceptual and emotional unrest triggered by the disaster. It seeks to question the political and social narratives that impose themselves as bearers of a single, supposedly objective truth, in order to uncover and deconstruct their underlying mechanisms.

An open studio with Anja Manfredi, artist-in-residence at Le Cube in November 2025, will showcase the work of both artists around the Atlas.
