Andrés Senra was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1968.
He lives and works in Madrid.
He studied photography, video, drawing and performing arts at various training centers in Madrid, as well as sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in San Fernando in 2010.
Andrés Senra is currently studying Philosophy at UNED and has a Graduate Diploma in Contemporary Art (2002). He graduated in biology from UCM, 1992-1993.
Andrés Senra has taken part in personal and collective exhibitions , Hurt Myself Everyday, CSA la Tabacalera in Madrid (2011), Europe, Fragile in Madrid (2010), Only for Real Antigua Casa Haiku in Barcelona (2010), Auslandia, Fondation Karl Hofer (Universität der Kunst UDK) in Berlin (2009), Casa Quemada, La Nave Spacial in Seville (2009), Hechos Reales, Espacio Menosuno in Madrid (2008).
Andrés Senra has also been awarded the following prizes and scholarships:
