Yasmine Mechbal

Yasmine Mechbal is an artist agent and communications consultant for art galleries and cultural institutions.

She began her career as a columnist for the contemporary African art magazine Diptyk, before joining the team at Loft Art Gallery, where she was involved in several exhibition projects and international fairs, notably with artists Amina Agueznay, Joana Choumali and Mous Lamrabat.

After a spell at the Fondation Jardin Majorelle, where Yasmine Mechbal was head of communications, she left the monographic world of Yves Saint Laurent to return to her real passion: contemporary art.

Since January 2022, she has been working as an artist agent, representing and managing the careers of emerging artists such as Yasmine Hadni, Othmane Bengebara and Iman Zaoin.

Yasmine Mechbal joined the team of Le Cube – independent art room in September 2022, as project and residency coordinator.
