Aïda Jamal is a clinical psychologist, contemporary dancer and facilitator of philosophical workshops.
She was born in 1997 in Rabat and grew up in various Moroccan cities.
In parallel to her studies in psychology, she is trained in contact improvisation and contemporary dance.
She has participated in several creations and residencies with Moroccan and international choreographers.
Aïda Jamal is currently working on her first solo piece “TAMAT” with the Goethe Institute of Egypt.
She also founded TAHSSIS to raise awareness of mental health through dance. Her objective is to combine these two fields that are dear to her, dance and psychology, and through them, share her artistic, political or poetic point of view.
