Marcin Liminowicz
Born in Poland in 1992, Marcin Liminowicz is a multidisciplinary artist who currently lives and works in Warsaw, Poland.
For his BA, at the Lodz Film School in 2014, he started to explore potential non-linear ways of storytelling using video, photography and publishing.
Currently, he is a student of The Institute of Creative Photography in Opava, Czech Republic.
Recently, he completed a one-year residency at FABRICA Communication Research Center in Treviso, Italy, during which he took part in numerous collaboration projects and exhibitions oriented on socially engaged issues.
His personal work focuses on how physical space reveals itself in its socio-political consequences.
In 2018, he was shortlisted at Unseen Amsterdam for a book “No Shoes in the House” and he was a finalist at Loop Discover Award in Barcelona, for a video “In Landscape Mode”.
Member of Krzak Collective – a communal garden in Warsaw, Poland with whom in 2019 he co-edited and designed Krzak Papier magazine – self-published, participatory printed matter examining a broad range of meanings behind “waste”.
