For the open studio, which takes place two months after the artist’s residency at Le Cube, Loutfi Souidi presents the current results of the research he started during the summer’s lab.

As part of his summer’s lab, Loutfi Souidi has developed a new project, “Je veux être artiste”, which focuses on the notions of punishment, learning, repetition and destiny. By taking as a starting point concrete situations from his daily life, linked to his childhood or his life as a young artist, which he reacts to, Loutfi Souidi sheds light on the irrationality of certain contexts and their impact on our future lives.

The opening of the open studio is also an opportunity to attend Loutfi Souidi’s artist talk accompanied by Noureddine Ezarraf in order to discuss the projects developed by the artist since his diploma at the Beaux-Arts of Tetouan.
