For her residency in Rabat, Camille Dumond hold collaborative interviews with various cultural workers in the field of the contemporary art scene. Starting from the backstory of specific Moroccan tales filtered through translation and recordings made by Paul Bowles in the sixties, she wishes to collect opinions over notions of fiction, emotional exploitation, translation and power.

In parallel with these encounters, she will produce objects around this research in a local ceramic workshop.

The realized projects are presented in the exhibition Eye Archive at Le Cube – independent art room.

Camille Dumond’s residence at Le Cube is part of the Studio Residency 2020 program developed by Pro Helvetia Cairo.
