Camille Dumond
Camille Dumond is a visual artist living in Switzerland.
She completed a master degree in visual arts in 2014 from HEAD-Geneva.
Since 2017, she has directed four short self-produced films at the edge of artist film and cinema, screened in independent theaters or broadcasted as video installations.
The films are set in contemporary heterotopias and based on field-research linked to personal or historical events, such as an artificial garden in England, a protest park in California, or an airport enclosure in Switzerland, questioning what remains of the story when the phenomenon of transcription into fiction happens.
Her visual practice is made of installations and pattern series of objects made with mixed-media techniques.
