For her first residency in Morocco, Austrian artist Lisa Grosskopf plans several trips to meet new territories and their inhabitants.
She wishes to use this time of research to extend her work on social uses of photography, particularities of human behavior in the digital world, interactions and characteristics of public and private space, as well as questions related to sex, gender, heteronormativity.
During her stay in Morocco, Lisa Grosskopf will give a workshop at the INBA in Tetouan and will also participate in a talk, as part of the exhibition Les Palmiers Fatigués in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation, with the presentation of her project Tropical Island and a performance with Lena Schwingshandl.
The residence is supported by the Austrian Ministry of Art, Culture, Public Service and Sport and by the Austrian Embassy Rabat.
