For her first residency in Morocco, Lucie Laflorentie is planning multiple displacements in order to discover new territories, their inhabitants and the strata that compose them.
She intends to plainly use her residency period to continue her research and extend her project on landscapes as a spiritual expression, and investigate her potential in relation to memory and receptacle.

“Going in search of shapes and conducting the investigation.
Ruins and monuments as notions are present and visible in Rabat. Their connections to the present, their cohabitations with the living, interest me and will serve as a base for my research.
The challenge will be to transcend the aspect involving human experience, and to nourish my sculptural, spatial and drawn approach to Matter.”
